Susan E. McGovern's Obituary
Susan E. McGovern, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She was born on August 26,1952 to David and Estelle (Radal) Cousineau in Muskegon. Prior to 2012, she worked as a medical biller for West Michigan Gastroenterology. Sue enjoyed reading, Tigers baseball, sunshine by the pool, her pets and spending time with her family. In May of 1980, she married Terry L. McGovern and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2016. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Elizabeth McGovern (Brian) Harvey; grandchildren, Lucy and Ira; step-children, Shannon McGovern, Nathan McGovern and Kristin McGovern; sisters, Delores Buckley, Autumn (Robert) Stanley, and Rebecca (John) White; brother, Kevin Cousineau. Sue was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Alan. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to Pound Buddies Animal Shelter & Adoption Center.
