Mrs. Susan Ann Root's Obituary
Susan Ann Root, age 74 passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Susan was born on February 4th, 1940 to Harold and Sally Smith. In 1959 she married her high school sweet heart, Jerry Root. Together they were blessed with 4 children. She worked as a Paralegal for Landman, Hathaway, Latimer, Clink and Rob for over 15 years. Susan was a very artistic woman. She enjoyed drawing, painting, watercolors and decorating. She was a very talented individual. She also enjoyed spending time away at their cabin up north, conversation, and spending time on the beach. Susan was a strong-willed, creative, beautiful, patient individual who will be deeply missed. SURVIVORS include her husband of over 50 years, Jerry; 3 sons, Stephen (Leigh), Jeffery, and Scott (Barb) Root; daughter, Lisa Root; 4 grandchildren, Allison, Olivia, Scott and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held from 1pm to 4pm on March 23rd at Fricano’s Muskegon Lake, 1050 W. Western Ave. A special thank you would like to be extended to the staff at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
