Susan I. Waggoner's Obituary
Susan I. Waggoner, age 71, passed away on October 16, 2024. She was born on November 26, 1953, to George and Genevieve (Gonyon) Rosema in Muskegon, where she had resided throughout her life. For 15 years, she served as a bus driver with Orchard View Public Schools, retiring in 2010. Susan loved her role as a grandmother and enjoyed various activities, including scenic car rides, yard sales, hunting, fishing, and trips to the Gun Lake Casino. On December 24, 1991, she married Timothy Waggoner, who survives her, along with their twin daughters, Ashley (William) Lahr and Lindsay Waggoner; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Christian, William Jr., and Weston; brother, Roland Rosema; special niece, Jennifer (Brian) DiGennaro; special nephew, Jacob Rosema; cousins, Kathy Rosema and Meghan McKenzie; brothers-in-law, Thomas (Susan) Waggoner, Steward Waggoner and George Waggoner; along with numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Rosema, and brother-in-law, Wayne Waggoner. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held for Susan at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or Veterans Memorial Park in Muskegon.
