Susan M. "Sue" (Hart) Furgerson's Obituary
Mrs. Susan M. “Sue” (Hart) Furgerson, age 49, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2004. She was born October 27, 1954 in Muskegon to James and Shirley (Corinti) Van Andel and lived in the area her entire life. She worked at The Village Inn Restaurant in Fruitport for 20 years and has owned the restaurant the past 13 years. SURVIVORS include her three daughters, Jennifer Locke of Muskegon, Lisa (Chad Davis) Hart of Nunica, and Stacey (Travis) Nadeau of Fruitport; 5 grandchildren and 1 on the way; her mother, Shirley (Clarke) Cooper of Fruitport; 1 brother, James Van Andel of Fruitport; 4 sisters, Cheryl (Stan) Policka of Muskegon, Nancy (David) Wells of Twin Lake, Ruth (Robert) Cross of Muskegon, and Lori (Rick) Huss of Spring Lake; and her foster grandson, Kendrick Banks. She was preceded in death by her father, James Van Andel and her grandson, Jordan. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with the Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart officiating.
