Susette "Sue" Chartrand's Obituary
Susette M. “Sue” Chartrand, 50, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Ravenna. She was born October 17, 1965 to Samuel and Verna (VanSipe) Grill in Muskegon, and was a life resident of the Ravenna and Muskegon areas. Sue was employed at Gerber Life for 31 years. She is survived by her 2 children, Tony Chartrand of Conklin and Shelby Chartrand of Fruitport; her granddaughter Sophia; her father and mother, Samuel and Verna Grill; 2 brothers, Samuel (Jennifer) Grill II of Muskegon, Vincent Grill of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernor and Rita Grill, Roy and Florence VanSipe. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Wednesday, June 22, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Sullivan Township Cemetery. Visitation at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening. You may visit the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
