Suzanne K. Jones' Obituary
Suzanne Kaye Jones, age 70, passed away Tuesday evening, May 23, 2017 at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born October 12, 1946 in Muskegon to Raymond and Eileen “Ikie” (Joneson) McIlrath. Suzie was a graduate of Orchard View High School in 1964. On July 22, 1967, she married Thomas K. Jones in Muskegon at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a member of the American Legion, Muskegon Eagles, and the Polish Roman Catholic Union. Suzie enjoyed going to the beach, boating, taking walks, watching NASCAR and Tiger baseball. Most of all, she loved watching the grandkids play hockey and baseball and spending time with her family. Suzie enjoyed life. SURVIVORS include her husband, Tom; 2 children: Troy Jones, Natasha (Matt) Klint both of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren: Navarre and Croix Klint; 2 sisters: Sandi Barclay of Muskegon, Bonnie (Jim) Yore of Irons, MI; nieces and nephews: Brigitte (Dave) Colson, Ty (Shyenne) Cole, Brandy (Brent) Jones, Tony (Amy) Barclay; many great-nieces and nephews; a special friend, Julie and her daughter “L”; and her beloved dog, Miss Sadie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Vincent Barclay. A Celebration of Suzie’s Life will be held from 12:30 - 4 PM on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Muskegon Eagles Aerie #668 (621 W. Western Ave.). Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Harbor Hospice.
