Sylvia Soneral's Obituary
Mrs. Sylvia Soneral, age 86, passed away Sunday evening, May 15, 2011, at the VNS Hospice House in Muskegon. She was born in Great Britain on January 15, 1925 to Frederick and Lillian (Farr) Tarry. After moving to the states, she spent most of her life in the Ludington area. Sylvia married George Soneral and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2000. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Ludington. Sylvia enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, reading, and rides by Lake Michigan. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Revelle of Muskegon, Eric (Pat) Soneral of Scottville and Jill Soneral of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, John (Deb) Warner, Elizabeth (Doug) Vander Laan, Eric (Michelle) Soneral, Andy (Becky) Soneral and Nicholas Dietrich; 5 great-grandchildren, Sylvia Warner, Adrian Quesnot, Grace, Emma and Liam Soneral; her brother, Eric (Sue) Tarry; her sister, Freda (Roy) Godfrey; lifelong friend, Evelyn Lucas and several nieces, nephews, and many cousins. In addition to her husband George, Sylvia was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bill Revelle and her sister, Dorothy. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church of Ludington (501 Danaher Street) with Rev. James Friesner, Jr. officiating.
