Tammy Lynn Hillsburg's Obituary
Tammy Lynn Hillsburg, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 20, 2024, at her home. She was born on November 30, 1964, to Ron and Virginia (Scarbrough) Hillsburg in Muskegon, MI which has always been home. She graduated from Muskegon High School class of 1983. She was a dedicated employee of Meijer where she worked as both a cobbler and cashier. Tammy also worked as a secretary at Trimline design for numerous years. Early on in life, she became a dedicated Jehovah Witness, starting in 1978. Tammy enjoyed crafts, puzzles and coloring. She loved elephants and sunflowers, having a collection of the numerous elephants she collected over the years. Tammy’s vivacious spirit and tender-loving personality will be missed by so many. She is survived by her mother, Viriginia Hillsburg; brother, Timothy (Shirley) Hillsburg; sister, Teresa Hillsburg; uncles, Larry Hillsburg; Kenneth (Jean) Scarbrough and Roy (Evelyn) Scarbrough; great-uncle, Esker Myers; cousin, Bob (Sarah) Hillsburg and family; and special family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chester (Letha) Hillsburg and Jesse (Dorothy) Scarbrough; father, Ronald Hillsburg; uncle, Dale (Nancy) Hillsburg; and cousin, Jeffrey Scarbrough. A Celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 360 Eric Ave., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
