Tammy D. Peterson's Obituary
Tammy Darlene Peterson, age 57, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 4, 2022. She was born on June 10, 1965 to Robert and Wilma (Cole) Bullis in Detroit, MI. Tammy enjoyed spending her time riding motorcycles, camping, going to the beach, and crafting. She liked to travel anywhere she could, and enjoyed the many places she visited when she worked as a truck driver. She also liked to read and strike up a dance party whenever she could. Most of all, Tammy loved spending time with her grandchildren. On December 28, 2004, she married Bruce Peterson and he survives her along with her daughters, Jennifer (Eric) Gervais and Heather Vaneerden; grandchildren Keegan Johnson, Dakota Miles, Mallory Gervais, Abryella Vaneerden, and Giuliana Gervais; siblings, Edward LeTourneau, Donald (Sandy) Bullis, Fred (Linda) Bullis, Donna (Mel) Timm, Deborah (Walt) Myers, Robin (Kevin Cooney) Bullis, and Wanda (Mike) Simoneau; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs, Brutis and Bear. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Valerie LeTourneau; and sister-in-law, Joan LeTourneau. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM, Friday, December 9 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 8 from 6:00-8:00 and one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Noah Project.
