Tanitra Lasha Jordan's Obituary
Tanitra Lasha “T” Jordan, age 43, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born March 23, 1979 in Muskegon to Thomas L. Plair and Catherine (Billups) Jordan and was a lifelong resident of the area. T worked for many years as a presser for Remwolt’s Drycleaners and later was a Certified Nurses Assistant at Roosevelt Park Nursing Home. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. T was very out-going and a very loving person. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed a beer or two. Survivors includer her son, Travonta Carson; her mother Catherine Jordon, of Muskegon, MI; 2 brothers: Thomas L. Plair, Jr., of Chicago, IL, and Anthony “Carl” Plair, of Birmingham, AL; 5 sisters: Glenda Billups, Marilyn Jordan, both of Tuscaloosa, AL, Anita Jordan of Muskegon, MI, Debra Plair-Maek of Holland, MI, and Kimberly Plair-Kennedy of Chicago, IL; 2 nephews, that were more like brothers to her, Samuel “Sam” Jordan and Pristan “PJ” Jordan. Many close nieces and nephews; several close friends including Deke Qualls. T was proceeded in death by her father, Thomas L. Plair; her sister, Tequila Jordan; step-father, Sam Jordan, Jr.; grandmother, Gladys (Hinton) Billups; 2 uncles: Bobby Billups, and Willie Billups; and first cousin, Bradly (Pimp) Billups. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2022 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442.
