Taylor Marie Rider, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born on March 4, 1993, to Amie Rider and Paul Norwood in Muskegon. Taylor was a beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, and friend. She was a very loving and outgoing person who loved to have a great time. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up a room. She could spend hours making memories with her children and family and boating with the love of her life Scott and Vero. Taylor loved listening to music and was a master at pinball games!! She loved her baby dog Vero. She loved crafting and boating with her beautiful children, Scott, and family. She loved seeing the world, taking vacations, and making new memories. She was an amazing soul who brightened up each and every person she came in contact with. Taylor was a beautiful soul who had so much love for everyone. She was funny, sweet, and kindhearted. She forever lives on in her 3 beautiful children, family, and friends. She is survived by her parents, Amie Estlick (Jacob), Ernest and Janine Norwood; grandparents, Arnold (Jacquie) Rider, Paula Greene; great-grandparents: Robert (Edith) Christie, Helga Rider, Roger Derr; three beautiful children, Jersey, Brooklyn Johnson, and Genaro Parker Jr.; the love of her life and best friend Scott McDowell; sisters and brother, Cody Schneider, Andy, Robert Estlick, Alexis (Ryan) Courtland, Alana Norwood, Zachary (Emily) Norwood, Jordan, Lucinda, Kimberly, Jacob, Jaidon Norwood; aunts and uncles, Arnie (Allison) Rider, Ashley (Devin) Edwards, Christian Rider, Bobby (Randi) Guthrie, Jimmy (Rachel) Guthrie, Chip (Deb) Norwood, Jamie (Jeff) Norwood, Joni (Nic) Norwood , Kevin (Judy) Derr, Sherri Derr, Todd (Lisa) Derr, Joan(Larry) Wilson , Ken (Carol) Norwood, Kerry Norwood, Janet (John) Deters , Kevin (Annette) Norwood; nieces and nephews, Greyson Norwood, Dawson, Elliannah, Jaxsyn Courtland; cousins, Tyler (Sarah, Everleigh), Emily, Waylon, Liam, Olivia, Shelton, Aubrey, Evan, Emily, Heather, Courtney, Spencer, Cooper, Briana, Allison, Halie, Sutton, Ryleigh, Rory, Emily, Kyla. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Norwood; grandmother, JoJo Guthrie; great-grandparents, Ernest and Beulah Norwood. A VISITATION with Taylor’s family will take place on Thursday, July 28, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at The Sytsema Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442. A FUNERAL SERVICE will take place on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church (1568 W. Giles Rd.) with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
