Ted Robert Corgan, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Boston Heights, Ohio. He was born on January 17, 1963 in Muskegon, MI to James and Frances Corgan. He was the ninth of twelve siblings. He is survived Read Obituary
Ted and I were in the same unit in the Army and went through basic together and then to Fort Ord, California we were in B co. 2nd Bn. 32 INF. Ted was very well liked and was regarded as a very fine soldier, that was well respected. Ted was hit by a claymore mine during a live fire exercise, when he was hit he screamed out in pain, one time. Just once. He will be dearly missed by his Bad Company brothers and the rest of the Buccaneer BN.

I am at a loss for words. I can still see him throwing that crazy knuckleball or curve ball. I am watching him spin that basketball on his finger and we are sweeping the water or snow from Bobby's driveway court so we can do some "dunking" or playing wiffle ball, kick the can or any other stupid kid stuff we did. Although we lost contact in all those years since high school, I have been unable to stop thinking about your loss. I am so sorry I will be unable to attend the visitation or service, however, please know my thoughts are with you and I can only hope that the wonderful memories of Ted will give some comfort that he will always be with you as he is with me.
I'll always remember Ted's brotherly bear hugs and warm smiles, dinners at your place with good ol' Leonard D'Ambrosio, long Catholic discussions into the wee hours, the kindness of Ted wielding his drill to attach my troublesome kitchen hook, arguing the meaning of "normal" in your living room, and the beautiful way he referred to Jen as his "bride." A lovely man, a strong man, a man of integrity, and a loving friend.
