Tequila L. Jordan's Obituary
Tequila Lashel Jordan, age 41 passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was born March 4, 1981 in Muskegon, MI to Thomas L. Plair and Catherine (Billups) Jordan. Tequila accepted Christ at a young age. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them playing cards, laughing together and enjoying life. Although she had no kids of her own, she loved all kids and they all loved her. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Her family includes her mother, Catherine Jordon, of Muskegon, MI; 2 brothers: Thomas L. Plair, Jr., of Chicago, IL, and Anthony “Carl” Plair, of Birmingham, AL; 6 sisters: Glenda Billups, Marilyn Jordan, both of Tuscaloosa, AL, Anita Jordan, Tanitra Jordan, both of Muskegon, MI, Debra Plair-Maek of Holland, MI, and Kimberly Plair-Kennedy of Chicago, IL; 2 nephews, that were more like brothers to her, Samuel “Sam” Jordan and Pristan “PJ” Jordan. Many close nieces and nephews; several close friends and best friend Tonica (Brown) Quin; and special friend Jerry Gilbert. Kela was proceeded in death by her father, Thomas L. Plair; step-father, Sam Jordan, Jr.; grandmother, Gladys (Hinton) Billups; 2 uncles: Bobby Billups, and Willie Billups; and first cousin, Bradly (Pimp) Billups. SERVICES for Tequila will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 27, 2022 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 (231) 726-5210.
