Teresa Doerr's Obituary
Teresa Doerr, age 84, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was born on October 16, 1932 to Peter and Sophie (Brychel) Szczesny in Muskegon. On May 26, 1951 she married Leon C. Doerr and they spent 60 years together until his passing on December 31, 2011. She is survived by her children, Larry (Lori) Doerr, Tim Doerr, Janet Doerr, Sue (Gary) Tackman; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Virginia Strach. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, Steven Doerr, Michael Doerr; and three siblings. A VISITATION with the family will take place from 5:30 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 5:30 pm at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231-759-8565) on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held at 11:00 AM at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1716 6th St.) on Thursday, June 15, 2017 with Rev. Fr. Charles Hall presiding.
