Teresa M. Pitts' Obituary
Teresa M. Pitts, age 72, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022. She was born December 7, 1949 in Salamanca, NY to Thomas and Ingeborg (Fluggen) Whalen. Teresa had worked as a claims adjuster for AAA Insurance Company in Sacramento, California for 18 years. She then moved back to Muskegon and worked for Comfort Keepers for an additional 9 years prior to retiring in 2009. Teresa loved her cats and enjoyed reading. SURVIVORS include her son, Jeremy J. (De Anna) Pitts of Kuna, Idaho; 3 grandchildren: Jared (Annie) Munoz, Robert Devers, and Hayden Neal; great-grandson, Matthew Munoz; brother, Michael P. (Judy) Whalen of Spring Lake; former sister-in-law, Susan Matthews; niece, Kelly (Joel) Kenyon; nephew, Patrick Whalen; cousin, Billy Goodman; and many life-long friends. According to Teresa’s wishes, there will be no public services. Memorials to the Noah Project will be appreciated.
