Terrance W. Wescott's Obituary
Terrance Wayne Wescott, age 70, of Fruitport, MI, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 16, 2025. Terry was born on October 28, 1954, to Donald and Patricia (Murphy) Wescott. Terry was a lifelong resident of Fruitport, MI. He graduated from Fruitport High School and went on to work for Kaydon Corp for many years until he retired in 2020. Terry was a 2014 Hall of Fame inductee for Fruitport Football. Terry had a passion for sports; he coached football and baseball for many years and loved watching the Michigan Wolverines, but the moments he most cherished were watching his grandchildren play their own sports. In the summer of 1993, Terry married the love of his life, Pam, and became a father to her four sons.
Terry is survived by his wife, Pam Wescott; their four children: Joe (Angie) Lockhart, Gordy Lockhart, Scott (Nikki) Wescott, and Brian (Courtney) Wescott; ten grandchildren: Madison, Bailey, Zandir, Gavin, Morgan, Landin, Maisin, MaKinley, JT, and Chloe; brother, Pat (Paulette) Wescott; sisters: Regan (Ken) Robbins, Kay (Bob) Bowen, Beth Wescott (Marc Senecal), Amy (Jeff) Rundquist, and Ann (Mike) Singleton; and many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Patricia Wescott, and nephew, Eric Wescott.
A Memorial Service will be held for Terry at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Living Life Church, 2175 Marquette Ave, Muskegon, MI, 49442, with visitation taking place an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
