Terri Lee Sterhan's Obituary
On Monday, September 2, Terri L. Sterhan, a beloved mother, grandma and sister passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 66. Born in 1957, to Charles W. and Gladys R. Menzock, in Muskegon Mi on November 27th. Terri was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Terri is survived by her three children, Jenniefer R. Menzock (Raymond Rodriguez), Lee M. Sterhan, Jolene A Vaughan (Lew E. Vaughan Jr.), 5 grandchildren Jerret M. Forward, Ava M. Rodriguez, Gracie M. Vaughan, Tessa A. Vaughan and Josie N. Vaughan and her sister Joan (Chuck) Hacker. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bobby, Michael, and sister Delores “Dee Dee.”
Terri graduated from Pontiac High School, received a degree from Muskegon Business College and was a long-time homemaker. During her most passionate years, she was devoted to caring for her grandkids full-time. Terri enjoyed many things-sewing, caring for her many house plants, feeding the ducks, reading, doing puzzles, and always brought life to gatherings.
The warmth, joy, and empathy Terri brought to every situation was contagious. In addition to being a strong woman in her faith, she was even stronger within her love for her family. Her top priority was spending time and cherishing memories made with those close to her. Her passion for living life to the fullest was infectious. Everyone who met Terri was left with an everlasting impression.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, with family and close friends of Terri, on Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Marian Chapel. A luncheon will follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441.
