Terrie Lee Bird's Obituary
Ms. Terrie Lee “Meme” Bird, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 after fighting cancer for the third time. She was born in Muskegon on March 28, 1950 to James and Dolores (Jenkins) Stark Jr. Terrie graduated from Muskegon Catholic High School. She was employed by West Michigan Postal Service Federal Credit Union for over 40 years prior to her medical retirement in 2019. She had a knack for remembering birthdays and enjoyed mailing cards or celebrating with you. Terrie loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She is survived by her former husband, Roger Bird; grandchildren, Ariel Bird-Jackson, Andrew Davies, Alec Bird, Aden Bird, and Evan Bird; great-grandchildren, Kymbria Parker and River Bird; mother, Dolores Stark; siblings, Sondra (Don) Brown, James (Sue) Stark III, David (Katie) Stark, Patricia (Chris) Vulgaris, Marilyn (Ron) Rymal, and Lori (Joe) Robinson; sister-in-law, Gwen Stark; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Paul Bird Jr.; father, James Stark Jr.; brother, Thomas Stark Sr.; and nephew, Thomas Stark Jr. VISITATION for Terrie will be held from 2-5PM Sunday, September 10, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. SERVICES for Terrie will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 11, 2023 at The Lee Chapel. Burial will be in Sullivan Township Cemetery.
