Terry L. Deblock's Obituary
Terry Lee Deblock, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, with her husband at her side. She was born on September 28, 1947, to James and Wilma “Jean” (Howard) Lynn in Muskegon, MI.
Terry was the oldest of a large family and is remembered for her loving care for all of her brothers and sisters, from babies on her hip growing up to buying clothes for teenage siblings when she was out of the house and working as an adult. She graduated from the Holton High School class of 1965. She was a dedicated employee of Howmet where she worked as a team leader in manufacturing airplane parts for the military and commercial airlines.
On May 20, 1967, she married Frank Deblock at Brunswick Catholic Church. Together they spent 55 years of marriage modeling love, commitment and doing what’s right. Terry was a loving wife, proud mother, caring grandma, and dear friend. She was known for welcoming her children’s friends into the Deblock home in Whitehall, quietly providing for whatever they needed, including countless meals and snacks, a friendly place to hang out, family excursions, and rides home from school events and parties. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Terry is survived by her husband, Frank W. Deblock; three children, Frank Deblock, Keith (Jessica English) Deblock and Christopher (Collette) Deblock; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Aidan and Quinn; sisters Peggy, Patty, Cathy, Cindy, Becky, Shelley; and brother James “Butch”. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gary; and sister Vicky. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2-4:00 PM on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
