Terry L. Farber's Obituary
Terry Lee Farber, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 12, 2019. He was born November 4, 1950 in Muskegon Heights to Leonard and Nellie (Rolison) Farber. Terry was employed by Walmart for the past 12 years and before that 20 years for Orchard Foods. On June 17, 1972, he married the former LeAnn Beals in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on June 7, 2009. He then married Anita (Moore) Rine on July 16, 2011 in Muskegon. Terry was an active life member of Wolf Lake Baptist Church. He lived The Word of God and displayed his faith by giving of his time and talents. He was also active in many roles with Destination Imagination for many years. Terry was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed bowling and photography. His most current hobby was wood working, specifically making walking sticks. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. SURVIVORS include his wife, Anita; 2 daughters: Elizabeth Anne Farber of Washington D.C., Amanda (Chad) Norkus of Nunica; 3 step-children: Stephanie Brandel, Jason (Katie) Brandel, Marina Rine; 5 grandchildren: Meredith Grace and Grayden Michael Norkus, Caswell Prys, Grey and Liam Brandel; his mother, Nellie Farber; 3 brothers: Dan (Marva Ray) Farber, Mark Farber, and Russ (Paula) Farber; 2 sisters: Pam (Claude) Tappen and Shirley (Dustin) Dodge; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Farber and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Farber. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 15, 2019 at Wolf Lake Baptist Church (1070 S. Wolf Lake Rd., Muskegon, MI 49442) with Rev. Burt C. Wachter officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery.
