Mr. Terry Lee Ferris' Obituary
Terry Lee Ferris, age 64, passed away July 22, 2021, at his home. Terry was born on December 9, 1956, to John and Janet (Yoder) Ferris in Muskegon, MI. He was a devoted father and grandfather and is survived by his children Brian (Lizzie) Ferris, granddaughter Vivian Ferris, and Emily (Jordan Haley) Ferris. Terry was a life-long resident of Muskegon except for the years spent in Colorado, which he loved. He recently retired from TGW/Ermanco where he worked for 34 years. He enjoyed coaching his children’s soccer and softball teams and was a member of the Muskegon Recreation Club and Lakeside Veterans Clubs. He enjoyed his golf league with co-workers, shooting pool with buddies, and being a regular for the Muskegon Football parking patrol with long-time friend Andy Mattson. Terry was a kind soul; someone you could joke around with and always provide you with a laugh. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy (Beth) Ferris, and Darren Ferris; sisters, Barbara Miller, and Vicki Ferris; aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the Lakeside Veterans Club in Muskegon from 12:00pm-2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a college fund set up for Terry’s grandchildren.
