Mr. Terry Lee Jasick's Obituary
Mr. Terry Lee Jasick, age 57, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 16, 2014 at his home in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on August 2, 1956 to Louis Daniel and Ann (McGruther) Jasick, Sr. Terry was a veteran of the Unites States Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He took great pride in the fact he attended Muskegon Community College on a $5 bet from his brother Tom and earned his Associates of Business degree. He was employed by GE Aviation of Muskegon. Terry was a former member of the Fruitport Eagles. He enjoyed hunting, giving his nieces and nephews ice cream money, and spending time with his family. On July 21, 2007, Terry married the former Suzanne Bowen in Muskegon and she survives him along with his children, Stacey Jasick and Steven Jasick; 4 grandchildren, Breeanna, Keven and Landen Lee “Stanley” Jasick and Caleb Thue; two brothers, Louis (Darlene) Jasick, Jr. and Tom (Carla) Jasick; three sisters, Marie (Patrick) Bennett, Sandra (Tom) Winter and Lori (David) Eagle; Sue’s sons, Joe (Meghan) Thue and Eric (Sarah Haveman) Thue; many nieces and nephews and his special friends, Lori Wayer and Joni Bowen Konkle. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, George and Marge Bowen, Jr., and two nephews, Tommy and Jordan Jasick. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 19, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-100 with Rev. Henry Idema officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Terry’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Dave Eling and James Derezinski.
