Mr. Terry G. Tibbs' Obituary
Mr. Terry G. Tibbs, 61, passed away Tuesday morning, August 18, 2015, in Muskegon. He was born February 5, 1954 to Glen A. and Ruth Mae (Nichols) Tibbs in Pikeville, Kentucky and moved to the Muskegon area in 1956. Terry was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a long haul truck driver. He also belonged to the Antiques-Farm Power Club, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by 3 sisters, Mary Rose Stidham of Muskegon, Anita Lynn VanTuinen of Holland, Susan Carol (Michael) Gilmore of Twin Lake; 1 sister-in-law, Diane Tibbs of Muskegon; 1 niece and 7 nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Michael Wayne Tibbs; and a niece, Penny DeHaan. A memorial gathering for Terry will be held Saturday, August 29, at 2:00 PM at his sister Susan’s home: 5468 Dalson Rd., Twin Lake, 49457.
