Terry Lee West Sr.'s Obituary
Terry Lee West, Sr., age 80, of Spring Lake, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at home. He was born October 6, 1944, in Marne, MI to George S. and Grace (Johnson) West. He married Deborah Elaine Verhoeks on January 15, 2022, in Spring Lake, MI.
Terry worked for the Veterans Administration as a field agent for many years. He was a member of the Eagles. Terry loved fishing, especially for Bluegills, loved woodworking and was gifted in working with driftwood. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and loved his dogs.
Terry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Deborah West; daughter, Lydia West; three sons: Terry (Mary) West, Jr.; George West, II; and Curtis Bronson; thirteen grandchildren: Addison, Tyler, Katie, Samantha, Joshua, Justin, Jacob, Destanie, Nicole, Lexis, Wyatt, Elliot, and Milo; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, George West.
According to Terry’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service. Memorials to Harbor Hospice are appreciated.
