Mr. Terry LaDon Williams' Obituary
Mr. Terry L. “Duke” Williams, age 62, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Terry was born August 11, 1953 to Lawrence and Lucy Mae (Dean) Williams in Muskegon. On June 23, 1984 he married the former Amelia Massey. Terry was employed in environmental services for Hackley Hospital for 15 years. Prior to that he had worked as a turbine operator at the BC Cobb plant. He attended Greater Harvest Baptist Church. Terry was proud of his fashion sense and enjoyed “lookin’ good”. He always kept his car clean and polished. Along with Amelia, his wife of 31 years, Terry will be greatly missed by his daughter, Terri Chiaz; adopted daughter, Keisha Williams ; grandchildren, Terry and Tyrell Williams; special “grandson” Khilon Martin; His mother, Lucy Mae Williams; brothers, Tony (Vivian) Williams, Lawrence Williams, Jr., and Ronald Williams; sisters, Donna McMillan and Pamela McCants; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Williams Jr.; his father, Lawrence Williams, Sr. and sisters, JoAnn Sutton and Sherry Taylor. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 22, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. with Rev Daniel Carder officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service (1-2pm).
