The very first time I met Terry was in New Mexico, when I got off the plane & was about to pick up my suitcase he took it from me & said I'll carry that, your my sister, I'll never forget that moment, that's when I got a new Brother. Bubba, Sean, Sinnamon, & Kaitlyn I'm thinking of you always. Kelly, Kallie, & Brandy you are in my thoughts & prayers. The one thing I will always remember about Terry is how kind he was, he was one of the kindest people I've ever known. I will miss him forever! The McQuay family sends our sincerest condolences to the Talbot Children, and to his wife Kelly. I have many fond memories serving with Terry as the Scoutmaster for Troop 1041. While I handled many of the administrative tasks in leading the Troop, Terry was the True Scouter, the heart of the unit's leadership, who really made the troop a success. Terry was an excellent teacher, whether the subject was knots, orienteering, or life lessons. I will always count Terry as a dear friend. A big imposing man with the heart of a saint. I look forward to seeing Terry again, and I am expecting a crushing bear hug.

To the Talbot family:
Boy Scout Troop 1041 will remember Terry Talbot fondly.
As an Assistant Scoutmaster, he was a mainstay of our troop. When Troop 1041 was formed, he organized the records and then kept tabs on each Scout's advancements. Terry also was an avid camper who willingly shared his many outdoor skills and helped the boys achieve their goals. As a leader, he had a calm, steady confidence that inspired all to do their best.
He will truly be missed, and we will always treasure his efforts in our behalf.
Sincerely,
Stan Harrison
Scoutmaster, Troop 1041
