Mrs. Tess Leon Kuhn's Obituary
Mrs. Tess Leon Kuhn, age 89, passed away Saturday morning May 5, 2012, at a local care facility. She was born July 25, 1922 in Muskegon to Jacob and Anna Berghuis. On June 5, 1941, Tess married Anthony G. Kuhn in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1986. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing and cooking. Tess loved to play the organ. She also liked summer RV trips, and gambling with the one arm bandits. She had a great love of animals, especially her dog, Lily. Tess is survived by her children, Andy (Maria) Kuhn of Smithville, TX, and Tracie Kuhn of N. Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Melissa, Anthony, Nathaniel, and Natalia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Peter Berghuis; and a sister, Cornelia King. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, May 10, 2012 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave.1-231-726-5210
With Chaplain Larry Terlouw officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (11 AM-Noon). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be to the NOAH project. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Share memories with the family at their on-line guest book.
