Thelma F. Weinrick's Obituary
Thelma Faye Weinrick, age 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on September 23, 1949 to Robert and Betty (Heiss) Weinrick in Muskegon, MI. She resided in Muskegon for most of her life. Thelma enjoyed spending time with her sons, family and friends. She traveled up north to visit loved ones and to play at the casinos, enjoyed time with her best friend, Sue Kmiecik, and watching over her great-niece Isabella Weinrick. Thelma loved to work in her yard, take walks, watch the sunset, and was a talented cook, who always made sure everyone was well fed. She was always there for support, encouragement, or just a listening ear. Thelma held a variety of jobs, but most importantly she raised her sons. She took immense pride in the men her boys had become. She had a great zest for life and immense love of family. She is survived by her sons, Rick Dewayne (Barbara) Howell, Robert Lee (Kathryn) Howell, Scott Eugene (Amanda) Boyle; grandchildren, Brooke Marie Boyle, Jessika Lynn Sloan, Rachel Loraine Howell, Bethany Ann Howell; brothers, Russell (Cleo) Weinrick, George Weinrick, Williard (Tammy) Weinrick; sisters, Laura Orcutt, Marylou (Sam) Berghius, Pamela (Paul) Holmes; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Russell and Betty Jane Weinrick, brother Gary Weinrick, husband Theodore Flater and her beloved son Brian Allen Boyle. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE for Thelma will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery at 11:00 Am on Friday, September 4, 2020.
