Thelma Mae (Getz) Yonker's Obituary
Mrs. Thelma Mae (Getz) Yonker, age 88, died early Saturday morning, October 29, 2005 in Muskegon.  She was born April 29, 1917 in Ravenna to Thomas & Mildred (Husted) Cunningham and had been a life resident of the area.  Prior to her retirement, Thelma had served as a Crossing Guard for the City of Muskegon for 13 years; and attended Crestwood United Methodist Church and Unity Reformed Church.  She was married to Floyd F. Getz and he preceded her in death on May 31, 1988.  She then married Herman J. Yonker on April 27, 1991 and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1997.  SURVIVORS include 2 children, Bernard (Barb) Getz of Muskegon Heights and Beverely (Donald) Goosen of Muskegon; 2 step-children, John (Carolyn) Yonker of Carrollton, TX and Janice (Henry) Palsrok of Muskegon; and several grand, great and great-great-grandchildren.  SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Crestwood United Methodist Church with Pastor Dianne Morrison officiating.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.  VISITATION will be 2-4 PM Monday at
