Theodore Flater's Obituary
Mr. Theodore “Ted” “Harry” Flater, age 52, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born on October 21, 1954 to Hiram and Charlotte (Berends) Flater in Fremont, MI. Ted owned and operated Flaters Dry-Walling for many years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, he loved to gamble and watch NASCAR. He is survived by 4 children, Tammy Flater of Muskegon, Scott (Amanda) Boyle of Twin Lake, Rick Howell of Muskegon and Bobby Boyle of Kalava, special granddaughter Brooke, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters, Zona (Fred) Pfenning of Muskegon, Phil (Joan) Flater of Hesperia, Lois Flater of Muskegon, Jim (Judy) Flater of Holland, Roger Flater of Muskegon, several nieces and nephews and good friend Randy Klingel. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Brian Alan Flater in 1985, step father Robert Wright, and friend Gary Huffman. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel
