I remember it was getting towards late evening , Roger Robillard and I were working at Walt's Gas Station. Don Chester was with us, the Chester Boys were always there. I think they just liked to be with the boys. Danny Rosema stopped in earlier as was most days. I am not sure I have all the days correct but I remember he had a cast on his leg that day. When he left on his motorcycle of course in Rosema style it was standing on the seat doing a "wheelie" over the hill into Twin Lake, shifting through a hole he had drilled in the cast. Hank Rosema stopped in at some point and not much later Teddy drove in. He had just finished his BEAUTIFUL MONTE CARLO. This car was spectacular. I hope this is not boring but after all of us spent time looking at this perfect job he did, it was Teddy's time to exit. Of course he left in typical Rosema style going side ways on M120. What he forgot was that the air compressor he used to paint this perfect car was still in the trunk. It wasn't long after he disappeared over the hill towards Twin Lake he returned to show us where the compressor had gone thru the trunk and the side of his car. After all the hard work, the many hours he labored, He laughed and said "Boy was that stupid!" Thanks Teddy for the person you were!
