Theodore "Ted" Leroy Grant's Obituary
Theodore “Ted” L. Grant, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. He was born on April 19, 1932 to Howard and Emeline (Reed) Grant in Muskegon. Ted was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. On August 21, 1954, he married the love of his life, Irene, and together they spent 66 happy years together. Ted worked for 40 years as a salesman for the Langlois Company until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the family’s lake cabin. Ted loved his grandkids and would go to watch as many of their sporting events as he could. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Irene Grant; children, Steven (Ann) Grant, Kirk Grant, Tracie Vanderstelt, Rennae (Dan) Juergens, Ted (Ana) Grant; grandchildren, Laura, Joni, Paul, Mitch, Deanna, Michelle, Kelsey, Alexis, Ted, Andy; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Grant; and ten siblings. A LIMITED SIZE MEMORIAL SERVICE for Ted will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 3:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. VISITATION with Ted’s family will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
