Theodore "Ted" P. Sebranek's Obituary
Theodore P. “Ted” Sebranek, age 75, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at his home. He was born March 17, 1944 in La Crosse, WI to Theodore and Eleanor (Woods) Sebranek. Ted married Sandra May Verthein on October 30, 1965 in La Crosse, WI and she preceded him in death on June 1, 1993. Ted worked 10 years as a car ferry operator for Grand Trunk and C & O. He later worked 18 years at Clarke Floor Machines and retired from Cole’s Bakery in 2009 after 20 years. Ted attended St. Mary’s and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Churches. He loved sailing and being on the water. He was also a Ham Radio operator. Survivors include daughter, Dawn (Chris) Redmon and their children, Chris, Doug (Staci) Cassi (Jasmine) Jordon, Ashley, John Hill (Alicia), Kameron Hallberg (Brittany); daughter, Lisa (Dan) McKinnon and their children, Mercedes (Raymond) Marshall, Danny, Kenny, and Angelise; 13 great-grandchildren; his life partner, Linda Stefanich and her children, Christopher, Lisa, Joshua, Katherine; Linda’s grandchildren, Brandon, Mason, TJ, Alayna, Joslyn, Daisey, Alexis, Mila; 2 brothers, Thomas (Darlene) Sebranek, Gerald Sebranek; and 1 sister, Patricia (Jim) Giffard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Sebranek; 1 grandson, Payton; his parents and 1 brother, Lawrence Sebranek. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Service, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Thursday, August 8 also at the The Lee Chapel. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Mausoleum.
