Theodore Joseph Stoerman's Obituary
Mr. Theodore J. “Ted” Stoerman, Jr., age 70, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 in Muskegon. He was born in Detroit, MI on September 2, 1934 to Theodore & Bessie (Johnson) Stoerman, and had been in this area since he was a young boy. Mr. Stoerman was the owner and operator of Sanitary Disposal for 40 years, prior to retiring in 1992. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles, an enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his many friends and family. Mr. Stoerman served his country in the National Guard. In April of 1992, he married the former Helen Snook, and she survives him along with 4 children, Dan Stoerman of N. Muskegon, Cheri (Vic Martineau) Tibbe of Twin Lake, Joe Stoerman of Whitehall, Brigitte (Ken) Dodge of Twin Lake; 5 grandchildren, Erika (Jon) Honoré, Amanda and Sarah Stoerman, Ashley and Madalyn Herrera; 2 great-grandsons, Cody and Kyler; in-laws, Nancy (Gerald) Zissler, Joyce (William) Meerman, Rosemary Snook, and Margaret Snook. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held 3 PM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Glen Maiden officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Thursday. Burial will take place in Twin Lake Cemetery.
