Thomas Lee Bean's Obituary
Thomas Lee Bean, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in Fremont. He was born November 14, 1950, to Delbert and Ruth (Schmiedeknecht) Bean in Muskegon. Tom spent a few years in the U.S. Army. He worked at many factories during his life. Tom enjoyed drinking beer, hunting, and stock car racing. He leaves behind five children: Christopher (Sarah) Bean, Thomas (Lynsey) Bean, Shane Bean, Shauna Priest, Nicholas (Amanda Gonyon) Bean; two siblings also survive him: Vicky Bean, Tim (Scott Hoos) Bean; and Goldie his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Chuck Bean, Ruth Conner, and Steve Bean. A service to remember and celebrate Tom’s life will be held Wednesday, September 6, at 11:00 AM at Connection Point Church, 2270 S. Mill Iron Rd., Muskegon, 49442, followed by a luncheon. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the service begins at 11:00. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
