One the the kindest men we have ever met. Over the years our girls were inseparable friends and I will always remember the many many school events and softball games we sat and hollered at together. I will miss running into you at Lakeside Cafe at breakfast. Our love and prayers are with your family, RIP my friend.

I was saddened to read of Tom's death. The description of his personality in the obituary matches my fond memory of him when I was his Pastor beginning in the 1980's: his kindness, his style of humor, and his commitment to his family. I gratefully remember a visit to Frankenmuth with him and Leah (my first) as well as his organizing a Bon Voyage Party for me when I went to Europe for the first time.

I had the privilege of working with Tom on the Clipper. He was a happy person in spite of his physical disabilities, and he was a premier restorer and painter on the ship. Everything he did was quality work, and he has been sorely missed by volunteers like me who knew him well, and enjoyed working with him. He always had a big smile on his face and a kind word.
