Thomas M. Cloud's Obituary
Thomas M. Cloud, age 82, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020. He was born July 9, 1938 in Muskegon to Clifford and Laverna (Covell) Cloud. Tom graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School in 1956. He worked for Shaw-Walker, West Michigan Plastics, and Supreme Machined Products prior to his retirement. Tom was a devout catholic and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a former member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Tom loved riding his moped, taking walks, and spending time with his family. He was also an accomplished harmonica player. On December 12, 2018, he married Carol L. Wright in Muskegon and she survives him along with 5 children: Curt (Shirley) Cloud of Oklahoma City, OK, Craig (Melody) Cloud of Fruitport, Kim (Rick) Kemp of Muskegon, Tom Cloud of Sand Lake, MI, and Terry (Tonie) Cloud of Hickman, TN; 2 step-children: Russell (Jennifer) Tilden of San Diego, CA and Robert (Colleen) Tilden of Norton Shores; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Judith Switzer of Muskegon and Karen (Theodore) Geldaker of Muskegon Heights; many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by a son, Richard Cloud; brother, Wayne Cloud; 2 sisters: Delores Dewind and Sandra Applegate. A graveside service for Thomas will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10, 2020 in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
