Thomas James Conzemius' Obituary
Thomas J. Conzemius, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Muskegon, MI. He was born to Mathew and Frances (VanLeuven) Conzemius on December 25, 1944, in Pontiac, MI. On August 19, 1989, he married Deborah A. Buckmaster in Muskegon, MI and they were able to spend 36 wonderful years together. He started Northside Heating and Cooling in 1989, and when he retired in 2006 he had four partners to continue, and grow the business. Tom enjoyed construction projects, camping with family and traveling with Debbie and their grandchildren, and also with their S&S Casino group.
He is survived in death by his wife, Debbie Conzemius; children: Timothy (Ann) Conzemius, Julie (Kelly) Lindberg, Todd (Kristi) Conzemius, Brian (Kami) Buckmaster, Scott (Carolyn) Buckmaster; grandchildren: Matthew (Cassie) Conzemius, Christopher Conzemius, Drew (Erika) Skocelas, Claire Conzemius (Brandon O’Day), Emma, Reed and Kate Conzemius, Darin and Kelci Buckmaster; great grandchildren: Jayd Skocelas, Brayden and Mason Conzemius; brothers: Jim (Barb) Conzemius, Marty (Anne) Conzemius; sisters: Sue Plummer, Agnes Conzemius and Joanne (Dale) Russell.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Tom will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, with VISITATION taking place one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 12 Noon.
