Thomas J. Davis' Obituary
Thomas J. “Tommy” Davis, 30, passed away Saturday morning, April 14, 2018. He was born August 16, 1987 to Thomas G. and Sherri (Hooker) Davis in Muskegon, and was life resident. Tommy was a 2006 graduate of Mona Shores High School, attended Muskegon Community College and Ferris State University before receiving his Masters in Business Administration. He was a Senior Financial Analyst for Mercy Health at the Muskegon Community Health Project, and was Chair of the Finance Committee for Habitat for Humanity of Muskegon County. Tommy cherished his dog Duke and his cat Pepper, he loved traveling, hiking, fitness and working out, golfing, and being part of the Sunday and Monday night basketball league. He loved Duke basketball, the University of Michigan, his friends and his family. Tommy is survived by his mom and dad, Sherri and Tom Davis; his brother: Eric; Grandparents: Dave and Linda Raulin; aunts and uncles: Lori and Chuck Miller, Bob Wierenga, Beth and Jeff Swearingen, Dan Hooker, Denny and Renee VanBergen; and a host of cousins, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jack Hooker, Paul and Albina Davis; and his aunt: Paula Wierenga. The funeral service for Tommy will be Friday, April 20, at 1:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
