Thomas E. Ferris' Obituary
Tom E. Ferris, age 80, died January 26, 2021 after a long illness and is now with his Heavenly Father. He was born 1941 in Big Rapids, Michigan to Newell & Irene Ferris. He was one of 8 children and was the last surviving one. He is survived by his wife Gloria Jean Ferris of 37 years. His children & stepchildren are Greg (Vicki), Jeff, Amy, Heather (Scott), and Erik. He also had 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He retired from Baker Furniture and was a strong union leader holding many positions. He will be missed by all the guys from his Monday night bible study that he hosted at his home. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa. A LIMITED SIZE VISITATION will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremations Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will take place on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery.
