Mr. Thomas J. Geyer's Obituary
Thomas Justin Geyer, 51 of Spring Lake, died on September 24th at his home. Tom was born October 12, 1960, and was the son of Suzanne and Justin (deceased), raised in Whitehall.
On December 14, 2002 Tom married Victoria Rishel. Tom and Vicki shared a life filled with joy and love for each other. They dedicated their lives to God and family and shared their love with a multitude of friends.
Tom and Vicki were blessed with three girls: Isabel (5), Lily (4) and Abigail (3). Tom's devotion and love to "his girls" was evident to all. Tom was a man of God, devoted husband, a loving, gentle daddy, and true friend to many.
Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting with his dog. Tom was a hard working, trust worthy salesman throughout the area.
Tom fought his cancer battle with grace, dignity, and humor and he has now claimed his eternal reward.
Tom is survived by his wife, Victoria; darling daughters: Isabel, Lily and Abigail; mother, Suzanne Geyer; brother, Patrick & Brenda Geyer (Matthew, Sarah and Max); sister, Barb & Hal (deceased) Beach (Holly and Alex); sister, Natalie and William Walther; In-laws, John and Helen Rishel; Sherri and Mike Barwegen (Abraham, Solomon, Elizabeth, Nathaniel); Christina and Ken Duchene (Gracie, Emma, Zachary, Hannah, Allie); Alana Depriest (Daniel and Anna).
Funeral Services will be 4:30 PM Friday, September 28, 2012 at Ferrysburg Community Church with Rev. Nathan Visker officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Thursday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake. Interment will take place in Lakeshore Cemetery.
