Thomas E. "Tom" Greenawalt's Obituary
Thomas Edward “Tom” Greenawalt, age 61, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026. He was born on October 25, 1964, in Highland Park, MI.
Tom was employed at Meijer for several years until declining health led to his retirement. For the past 19 years, he made his home at the Roosevelt Park Nursing Center, where he was well cared for by the staff and formed many meaningful connections.
Known for his wonderful sense of humor, Tom enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Although he had no immediate family, he was surrounded by many caring friends and caregivers whose lives he touched.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Roosevelt Park Nursing Center Dining Room, 1300 W. Broadway Ave., Muskegon, MI 49441.
Memorials to the Roosevelt Park Nursing Center Activities Fund will be appreciated.
