Thomas Joseph Guerrero's Obituary
Thomas J. “Tom” Guerrero, age 77, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023. He was born March 16, 1945 in Muskegon to Antonio and Isabel (Servera) Guerrero and was a lifelong resident of the area. On June 18, 1983, he married Marie A. Rasey in Muskegon and she survives him. Tom worked as a machinist for 44 years at American Coil Spring and retired in 2007. He attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Tom enjoyed horse racing and visiting the casinos. He was a member of the golf league when he worked at American Coil Spring. Survivors include his loving wife, Marie Guerrero; 4 children, Bryan (Rhonda) Guerrero, John (Catherine Holmes) Cooper, Scott David (Rikki) Cooper, Tracy Cooper; 2 generations of grandchildren; 1 brother, Alberto (Maria) Guerrero; 5 sisters, Mary (Ron) Balentine, Virginia (Mark) Hamilton, Angie (Terry) Schrebe, Linda (David) Lopez, Carmen (Jim) Sebring; and 1 sister-in-law, Gail Guerrero; and his former spouse, Sue Ann Mandt. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Chuck Guerrero and Antonio Guerrero, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held 5-8 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 at The Lee Family Center of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
