Thomas B. Gustin's Obituary
Thomas B. Gustin, age 79, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born February 27, 1946, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Robert and Elizabeth (Fries) Gustin. Tom was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 297. He worked as Head of Security for Consumers Power for 25 years prior to his retirement. On November 23, 1984, he married the former Lesha DeGlopper in Grand Rapids, MI, and she survives him along with his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole (Andrew) Bonter; granddaughter, Mary Bonter; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane (Don) Betts; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Keith (Deb) DeGlopper; several nieces and nephews; and his four-legged companion, Roxy. A memorial service for Tom will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Stafford Street Community Church with Pastor Dave Selleck and Chaplain Debbie Vetter officiating. Visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in McNitt Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ravenna American Legion Sherman Moore Post #297.
