Pat and Family...so sorry to hear of your Brother's passing...thoughts and prayers from Mark and Diane!
Have so many special memories from the Yacht Club with Tom.. just the nicest guy, always with a smile . So happy I was able to see him in Marco Island a few years back.. Rest In Peace Tom ❤️
It has been many decades since Tom & I have communicated but my memories are still there. Besides being classmates @ NMHA we were involve in Boy Scouts.
For two summers we were counselors at Gerber Scout Camp in Fremont assigned to the waterfront as lifeguards and teachers of lake activities. This included rowing, canoeing but most importantly, swimming.
The troops would spend a week at camp and part of each day they would spend with us down at the lake.
It was a very rewarding time for us to be able to see the progress, in only a week’s time, for those kids who were afraid of the water at the beginning of the week to enjoy being in the lake by week’s end.
It was great to be able to spend those idyllic summers with Tom.

I had the pleasure of talking to Tom at most of the reunions over the years. Specifically I connected with him at Custer Park this last summer and the summer before. We discussed some casual things but he never complained about his health. Time again takes another one of our brethren but I take delight with the conversations we had. Pete (Wm) VanderWel
What a wonderful man has left this place…a blessing to family and friends, an example of how to live and love life, an inspiration to all who were touched by his presence in their lives. Our deepest sympathy to Cris and the girls. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Most certainly, your dear Tom will Rest In Peace.
Love, Mike Peg, Kelly and Scott
My sincere sympathy to your entire family. I remember years of great weekends spent sailing with lean-ins after, enjoying family times together. Tom was always positive, knowing there was another race coming! I am in FL, so will not be able to greet your family, but will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Lexie OBrien and girls
