Thomas G. "Tom" Hronek's Obituary
Thomas G. “Tom” Hronek, age 84, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at SKLD – Zeeland. He was born July 10, 1939 in Muskegon to George and Avesta (Peterson) Hronek and was a lifelong resident of the area. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and Reserves. He married Darlene M. Ramey in Muskegon on January 27, 1962 and she preceded him in death on January 2, 2022. Tom worked as an assembler for over 30 years at Shaw-Walker/Knoll prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom is survived by 2 sons, Todd Hronek, David Hronek; 1 daughter-in-law, Julie Hronek; 5 grandchildren, Amanda (Zach) Webb, Rebecca Hronek, Madison Hronek, Luke Hronek, Blake Hronek; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene M. Hronek; his son, Mark Hronek; his daughter-in-law, Rose Lynn; his parents, and 1 brother and 1 sister. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Egelston Township Cemetery with Rev. William J. Rudd officiating.
