Thomas Gregory "Tom" Kelly's Obituary
Thomas Gregory Kelly, Tom, aged 62, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026. He graduated from Muskegon High School and Western Michigan University with a Master of Social Work degree. Tom was a passionate case manager of over 30 years and prioritized providing exceptional care to the clients he served. Tom always acted with compassion and devotion and took the time to build a relationship with every client and family.
Tom was a music enthusiast and had a passion for playing the guitar and collecting CDs. He was an animal lover and left behind two of his four-legged best friends, Winston and Kipper. Tom loved spending time outside working on his yard, chopping firewood, and going up to the Kelly Cabin. Above all, Tom was a devoted father who taught his daughters what it meant to be cared for and loved.
Tom is survived by his daughters, Jacklyn and Vanessa Kelly; brother, Christopher Kelly: and nieces, Meghan, Jordan, and Zoe Kelly. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Kelly, and his mother Dolores Kelly.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444, with Deacon Matthew Dugener presiding. These services will be open to all who wish to say goodbye and celebrate the life of Tom Kelly. Interment took place during a Private Graveside at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
