Tom and I were so sorry to hear of Tom‘s passing. He was a wonderful professional colleague, who I could always count on for words of wisdom and support at MCC. We were hoping to attend his celebration of life but will be out of town the 23rd. We’ll be with you in spirit. God bless.

To Angie and family: So sorry to learn of Tom's passing. For many years, Tom was a member of our investment club. We had some great discussions around the table where we met at the airport. Some, usually including Tom, wanted to invest in stocks that paid a good dividend or had good prospects for significant growth. Others, like me, preferred not to invest in stocks that were bad for individuals or the environment. We always had a good time. Losing your partner is unimaginably painful. We are so very sorry.

So very sorry for your loss. Tom was a wonderful man. I had the privilege of meeting him when he volunteered at Nelson School. He was so patient with the children and always asked such thoughtful questions to make sure he was doing what was best for those he tutored. It was an honor to know him. I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was such a dignified man and a respected college instructor at MCC. I will always remember his distinctive voice, humor, wisdom, and kindness. What a brilliant man! Angie, I miss you deeply and hope you are doing well. I still feel so honored to have shared an office with you at MCC; I am a better instructor because of everything I learned from you. "Mr" Maloy was a GREAT prof at MCC. He had patience with me during office hours. His wife had (again) patience with me during office hours at MCC... so I could be accepted at Michigan Tech! They BOTH were a conduit to my success at MTU. I miss seeing them at St. Francis ... Norton shores...GOD BLESS both of them for who they were/are. I'm in a better place because of BOTH of you!!!

I remember spirited discussions on the General Ed committee years ago at MCC. Tom & I used to butt heads on the importance of economics versus math as a degree requirement.. And we always agreed to disagree. He was thoughtful, so interesting to listen to, witty, and always a gentleman. I enjoyed working with him.

Lauri and I are saddened to learn of Tom's passing. He was my first officemate at MCC. He made me feel like family. I also enjoyed helping him with the Honor's program. He got me back into golf as well. He was one of the truly good ones, and had a life well-lived. I loved our political/economics discussions.
