Thomas McCleese's Obituary
Thomas Harrison McCleese, age 67, of Nunica passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006, at his home. He was born December 5, 1938 to Ernest and Edna (Ramey) McCleese in Mancelona, MI; and he married Catherine Ann Kamradt December 6, 1958 in East Jordan, MI.
Mr. McCleese retired from Grand Haven Stamped Products Co. after 38 years as a machine operator in 2003 and after worked part time for Dennison Automatics. Tom enjoyed camping, trips out west to see the Rocky Mountains and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Catherine; 3 daughters, Joy McCleese, Montague; Gay Lynn (Justin) Ring, Grand Haven; Kay (Norman) Anderson, Nunica; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Geneva Dittrich, Ionia, MI; Mary Lu (William) Topolinski, Boyne City; Evelyn Ealy, Gaylord; 2 brothers, James McCleese, Boyne Falls and Joseph (Ethel) McCleese, Boyne City; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Olive Wilson and Pearl Scholl, and his brother Willard.
