Thomas E. Peterson's Obituary
Thomas E. Peterson, age 61, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born on February 28, 1962, to Herb and Dolores (Smith) Peterson in Muskegon. Tom worked for 15 years at Howmet as a Platter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, campfires, his dogs and most importantly spending time with his family. On April 25, 1986, he married, Tracy McCormack and she survives him along with 4 children, Kristina (Patrick) Mieczkowski, Erik (Valerie) Peterson, Kelli (Allan) Wacholz and Trevor Peterson; brother, Charles Peterson; sisters, Lynn Peterson, Jane (Leonard) Brown and Kathy (Chris) Strandberg, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, John, and Matthew Peterson; and sister, Pam Kelly.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the VFW Post 3195, 5209 Grand Haven Rd., Norton Shores, MI 49441. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be donated to VFW Post 3195.
